Do you record country and Americana artists from Tomball?
Absolutely — Tomball's honky-tonk and Texas country scene around Main Street sends us singer-songwriters and full bands regularly. We track live acoustic guitar, fiddle, steel, and vocals with real microphone technique, and we also have a wall of studio guitars available if you want extra layers on your record.
How long is the drive from Tomball to the studio?
About 30 minutes straight down the Grand Parkway (99) — Tomball is one of the closest towns on our north side. Plenty of Tomball artists book evening sessions after work and are back home the same night with rough mixes in hand.
Do I need to write my lyrics before coming to the studio?
It helps to have a direction in mind, but we work with artists at all stages. Some come in with everything locked in, others write and develop in the room. Either way, we'll make the session work for you.
Can I bring my own beats or instrumentals to record over?
Absolutely. You can bring MP3s, WAVs, or any audio file. We'll load it into Pro Tools and sync your vocal timing to it. If your beat is in a different key or tempo than you want to sing in, our engineer can adjust it.
What should I bring to my recording session?
Bring reference tracks that represent the sound you're going for, any backing tracks or beats (on USB or email), water, and snacks. A small, focused group in the room leads to better work. We provide the microphone, preamp, and all technical gear.
